However, do the Scriptures genuinely support the conclusion that these upcoming eclipses are the specific signs predicted by Jesus and Joel and which were shown to John the apostle? Knowing the Day and Hour…Although most prophecy teachers who believe the coming blood moon tetrad is connected with Christ’s return want to avoid the charge of “date- setting,” they are also going to great lengths to persuade people that these eclipses could very well represent prophetic fulfillment. For example, in his recently released book, Four Blood Moons: Something is about to Change, John Hagee writes: The fourth series of Four Blood Moons is coming! They are extremely rare even by scientific standards.
