Rebecca was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of North Bend and North Bend FFA Alumni. She was a Girl Scout leader, Youth Group Leader at St. Peter, and belonged to St. Peter Ladies Aid. Rebecca was also a member of VFW Auxiliary of North Bend and the North Bend Elementary School Board. She is survived by her husband Warren; sons Joshua Renner of Minneapolis, Minn., Blayne (Amanda) Renner of Lincoln; daughters Stacie (Clint) Turnbull of Thayer, Reba (Bart) Deterding of Cambridge; brothers Jim (Mary) Spath of North Bend, Fred (Doreen) Spath of Urbandale, Iowa, Steward (Kristine) Spath of Eagle; sister Treva (Larry) Farris of Nebraska City; sister- in- law Karen (Gary) Mc.
Vicker of Hampton, Iowa; and 1. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roger Spath and granddaughter Jayde Deterding. Her funeral service was Oct. North Bend’s St. Peter Lutheran Church. The Rev. Christopher Howell officiated. Burial was at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Pleasant Valley located northwest of North Bend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Luther of Nebraska at Schuyler and St. Peter Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Moser Memorial Chapel of North Bend is in charge of arrangements.

Lafayette and Alice (Segebart) Schoenjahn. Janet attended schools in Carroll and was a 1. Carroll High School.
She attended business school in Omaha. Janet married Ron Merryweather on Sept. Carroll. They moved to Fremont in 1. North Bend in 1. 96. Janet was employed at North Bend Insurance Agency for 4. She was a member of the North Bend United Presbyterian Church, P. E. O., and the community choirs.
She lived a life full of passion for family, music, and quilting. Janet is survived by her husband Ron of North Bend; son Michael (Linda) Merryweather of North Bend; daughters Lee Ann (Dan) Kingry of Fremont, Melinn (Mark) Brandt of Fort Collins, Colo.; sister Jo Ann Kaney of San Diego, Calif.; 1. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service was held Oct. United Presbyterian Church in North Bend. The Rev. Michael Hill officiated.

Castana, Iowa. Glenn grew up on a farm near Turin, Iowa. He attended a country grade school and Castana High School. Glenn married Doris Cooper on Jan. Onawa, Iowa. Their marriage was blessed with five children. They began their life together near Soldier, Iowa, working on a farm and then farmed for seven years near Pisgah, Iowa. While in Pisgah, Glenn attended Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa, to become an auctioneer.
The family moved to North Bend in 1. Glenn worked for Pollard Implement until 1. Taylor and Martin Auction Company. In 1. 96. 8 he started his own Real Estate and Auction Companies and in 1. Doris moved to Fremont.
Glenn was in the construction business in the ‘8. Fremont and North Bend. Although Glenn enjoyed the businesses he owned, he was a farmer at heart. He purchased and farmed a farm east of Fremont for several years in the ‘9. Glenn retired in 1.
Glenn was a member of Community of Christ Church, North Bend Masonic Lodge 1. AF& AM and Arbor Vitae Chapter 9.
